The deadline to register for the Washington DC trip is a little over a month away.  Please remember that all participants must be registered and all payments to Five Star Travels must be current by 12/1/19.  Security forms will be in signed papers this week and should be turned in to your child's homeroom teacher before the Thanksgiving holiday.

We are getting excited about this fun field trip!

Author Visit

We are so excited that Eric Litwin, original author of the Pete the Cat books and many other fun stories, will be visiting FPD on November 5th.  To show Mr. Litwin how much we love his books, we're encouraging students to wear polka dots on the day that he visits!  Students may wear polka dot pants, shirts, skirts, socks, Dad’s tie, hairbows, etc., but the rest of their outfit should be school uniform.

Check out his website to learn more about his books!

Reading Buddies!

Ms. Brown’s class loves their reading buddies! Each Wednesday, they read to 4K students in Mrs. Carol’s and Mrs. Tabitha’s classes.

Pep Rally Fun!!!

The elementary teachers, led by Mrs. Murnan, put on a great show in the annual Homecoming lip sync battle! Go Vikings!!

Thank You, Morning Patrols!

We are so thankful for our morning Safety Patrol students, who arrive to school early each day to help with carpool drop-off (including “late start” Wednesdays). These selfless students were treated to a donut and juice breakfast this morning. From the looks of it, they enjoyed the treat!
